The Right Connection – Secure & Stable
You want to mount your monitor, but the included screws are too short or nowhere to be found? Here you will find the right replacement for a firm hold.
It is the classic annoyance during assembly: The new monitor arm is ready, but the screws in the package are only intended for direct mounting. However, as soon as you use a VESA Adapter or spacers, the length of the standard screws is often no longer sufficient to grip securely in the thread. Our screw sets and mounting kits are specifically designed to close these gaps – with extra lengths that are often hard to find in hardware stores.
When Do You Need New Screws?
- • Using VESA Adapters: Since our adapters have their own material thickness (mostly robust metal or high-quality plastic), the screws connecting the adapter to the monitor must be correspondingly longer than the original screws.
- • Using Spacers: If you use spacers to level out a recessed VESA mount, you strictly need screws that cover the length of the spacer plus the insertion depth.
- • Loss: During a move or monitor change, tiny screws often get lost. Our universal sets provide replacements.
Which Screw is the Right One?
| M4 Standard | The absolute standard for PC monitors (up to approx. 32 inches). "M4" stands for 4mm thread diameter. We offer these in various lengths (e.g., 10mm to 30mm). |
| Thumbscrews | These screws have a large head that you can tighten by hand (tool-free). They are ideal for parts you want to adjust or remove more often, such as for the quick assembly of adapters. |
| M5 / M6 / M8 | These sizes are usually only required for large TVs or very heavy large-format displays. Check your screen's manual to be sure. |
Safety Tip: Never screw with force! If a screw is too long and hits the bottom of the housing, you can damage the panel. In doubt, use washers or the exactly matching length from our sets.
